Majestic TheatreLocated in the heart of downtown San Antonio, the Majestic Theatre is the performance home of the San Antonio Symphony. Municipal AuditoriumOpulence and attention to architectural detail are characteristic of one of San Antonio’s alternate meeting venues. Built in 1926 as a memorial to World War I veterans, a devastating fire in 1979 completely gutted the interior of the auditorium. In 1985, the renovated and modernized building was re-dedicated. Although the building was modernized, the stately elegance and grandeur of a by-gone era was retained. |
