San Pedro Playhouse

The historic San Pedro Playhouse has been home to one of the oldest continuously operating live theaters in the southwest since its completion in 1930. Having recently completed a multi-million dollar rennovation, the Playhouse has been restored to its original beauty while incorporating state-of-the art technology. The building houses two theaters--the intimate 60-seat Cellar Theater and the 400-seat Russell Hill Rogers Theater. Its award-winning, critically acclaimed productions include musicals, dramas, comedies and orginal works. Located in beautiful San Pedro Springs Park just north of downtown San Antonio, parking is free.

      I was extremely surprised with the level of awesome acting the cast members of The King & I demonstrated. I am a movie buff but now these cast members have made me want to attend live performances... Expand
