A SPECIAL VALENTINES EVENT! The Company Theatre continues the ever-popular Dinnerbox Series - bringing live theatre into local restaurants - with a very special Valentine's Dinner Theater event, bringing A.R. Gurney's extraordinarily successful Dramedy to The Big Apple Room at Little Italy. Simply conceived and beautifully constructed, Love Letters is both witty and bittersweet as it follows the "near misses" of a relationship through a lifetime of letters between a man and a woman. From summer camps and boarding schools, through college, war, career and relationships, we watch the journey between free-spirited but unstable artist Melissa Gardner (played by the amazingly talented Heather Kelley) and dutiful lawyer Andrew Makepeace Ladd III (played by J. Damian Gillen.)
